Senior Solicitor – B.Ec LLB (Sydney University)
Vicki is our senior Solicitor who has been practicing law since 1986. She has an extensive understanding in all areas of law, particularly family law, wills and estates. Her approach is down to earth, precise, honest and realistic. Vicki encourages and assists her clients to understand and actively work towards a solution to their dispute. Vicki openly acknowledges that every matter is unique and she is aware her clients have differing economic circumstances and is particular in advising and achieving a cost effective solution for each individual case scenario. She also has extensive court experience in Family Law matters and is able to guide and represent her clients in all stages of the Court process.
Solicitor – LLB BBus (Management)
Emily has worked in the legal industry for 7 years and has expertise in family law, conveyancing, wills and estates. She is extremely passionate about family law and has undertaken a great deal of work with legal aid clients, as well as work in the care and protection jurisdiction. She is a very compassionate person by nature and has a natural ability to nurture her clients through whatever journey they may take under her close legal advice and guidance. Emily has completed the Law Society of NSW program in wills and probate and is currently studying her Masters of Applied Laws, with a major in Family Law.
Paralegal and Conveyancing Assistant
Jasmine joined the East Coast team in February 2018 with the primary role of assisting in the areas of conveyancing and family law.
Jasmine completed a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in welfare in 2014 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2018. She is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and will be admitted as a Solicitor in November 2018.
Jasmine is interested in the areas of family and property law (conveyancing) as well as wills and estate planning, equine law & employment law. Jasmine has a real passion for helping people through difficult times such as when there is a family breakdown and also helping people through the exciting times of their life when they sell and purchase property. Jasmine’s goal is to make sure the process is as simple and stress free as possible for you. Jasmine’s social science studies will enable her to assist our family law clients, particularly those experiencing family and domestic violence, in a compassionate and understanding way.
Jasmine is a born and raised Port Macquarie local who looks forward to assisting her community with their legal matters. She will be a familiar face to some as she enjoys getting out and being active, going to beaches and parks in the Port Macquarie area with her husband, young son and 3 dogs.
Meg joined East Coast Law in late 2016. Meg is a true Port Macquarie local having lived here all her life. She has a wide knowledge of the community and facilities that the Mid North Coast region has to offer.
Meg is the person most likely to answer the phone when you call. Meg has a kind, understanding and empathetic approach to our clients. She understands that a separation is possibly the most stressful time of their lives. Meg will listen to you and ensure that your enquiry is dealt with in the most efficient way. No job is too big or small for Meg. She is a great asset to the professional staff and her level of support ensures the smooth overall running of the office.
Outside of work, Meg is a busy mother of two young children. She is also studying her Bachelor of Criminal Justice majoring in Psychology. Meg regularly volunteers in community projects such as coaching her son’s soccer team and mentoring youth through challenging times.
